Our Coaches

The greatest minds in golf, in one coach

Timeless fundamentals · modern ball-flight understanding · short game craft · the mental game

PrivateGolfCoach's coaching staff is not one person. It is the distilled teaching of the greatest golfers and golf coaches who ever played the game — the fundamentals they all agreed on, the diagnostics they used to read a ball flight, and the drills they gave their own students. That teaching is what the library holds, and it is what shapes every answer you get: a named drill, the exact setup and reps, the one or two cues that make it work, and a target that tells you whether it landed.

Who we learn from

Exactly who our AI coaching staff is built on

We studied the published teaching of the greatest golfers in history and of today's best players — and, just as importantly, the teachers who built them. Their books, lessons, interviews and coaching notes are the brains behind our AI coaching staff. Nothing here is invented: every drill traces back to teaching that has already produced champions.

The legends of the game

The ball-striking and course-management teaching of the all-time greats — the players who wrote the instruction books the modern game still runs on, from swing fundamentals to how to think your way around a course.

Today's best players

How the current generation generates speed, controls the face, dials in wedges and putts under pressure — taken from their own published coaching and practice routines.

The coaches behind them

The swing teachers, short-game specialists and putting coaches who actually built those players. Their diagnostic method — read the ball flight, fix one thing, measure it — is the method this coach uses on you.

Sport science, mind and body

Performance coaches, mental-game teachers and golf-fitness specialists: pre-shot routine, pressure, mobility, rotation and recovery, adapted for youth, adult, women's and senior golf.

PrivateGolfCoach is an independent teaching platform. We study and teach from publicly published golf instruction — no player or coach named or referenced is affiliated with, or endorses, this platform.

What the coach believes

The fundamentals, kept honest

Grip, aim, posture and ball position come first — the things every great teacher in the game's history returned to before touching anything else in the swing.

Ball flight tells the truth

Path and face govern curve; low point governs strike. Every diagnosis starts with what the ball actually did, not with what the swing looked like.

Sequence over strength

Ground, hips, torso, arms, club. Speed you can repeat comes from order and balance — the principle behind every modern speed programme.

The short game is where scores live

Landing spots, reliable wedge distances, green reading and a repeatable putting stroke earn more strokes than any swing change.

The mental game is trainable

Pre-shot routine, commitment, target focus and recovery after a bad hole — taught as skills with reps, not as motivational talk.

Practice that transfers

Blocked reps to build a feel, random reps to own it, and a measurable target on every drill so you know whether the session worked.

Coaching framework

Four areas, one game

Every question you ask lands in one of these four areas, and the coach adapts the language, the drills and the physical demands to your mode — youth, adult, women's or senior golf.

Full swing & ball striking

Setup, takeaway, transition, impact and finish — diagnosed from your swing video and fixed with one named drill at a time.

Short game & putting

Chipping, pitching, bunker technique, speed control and start line, with practice games that produce a score you can chase.

Strategy & scoring

Club selection, misses you can live with, when to attack a flag and how to stop one bad hole becoming three.

Body, mobility & longevity

Rotation, stability and recovery work that supports your swing at any age. Educational only — never a diagnosis or treatment plan.
